Project Management Business Partner
Location: Broughton (on‑site)
Contract: 12‑month contract
Working pattern: 35 hours per week | 4.5‑day working week
Rate: £29.18 per hour PAYE / £39.04 per hour Umbrella
Security clearance: BPSS+ (completed by Airbus)
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Project Management Business Partner to support the successful delivery of high‑value CAPEX and building & construction projects at Airbus Broughton.
Working closely with the Project Leader and multi‑functional teams, you'll play a key role in shaping projects from feasibility and concept through to design, delivery and final handover. This is a highly collaborative role, suited to someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys stakeholder engagement, and brings a structured, professional approach to project governance.
What You'll Be Doing
As Project Management Business Partner, you will:
Partner with Project Leaders to set up, manage and deliver projects in line with Airbus Project Management standards
Establish and maintain effective project governance, reporting and controls
Support budget management, cost tracking and financial follow‑up
Lead and support risk and opportunity management, including mitigation planning
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, architects and professional service providers
Monitor and validate progress of professional service work packages and on‑site works
Support milestone reviews, audits and compliance activities
Ensure projects meet safety, security, ethical and technical compliance requirements
Use appropriate project management tools and methodologies to support delivery
What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates with strong practical experience, rather than formal qualifications alone. You'll ideally bring:
Broad, hands‑on project management experience, ideally within capital investment or construction environments
Experience working with multi‑functional teams, including external contractors and professional service partners
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to communicate at all levels
Sound understanding of risk, budget and schedule management
Experience within building and construction project management (desirable)
A structured, proactive and collaborative approach
Strong IT skills, with experience using tools such as SharePoint, MS Project or similar collaboration and planning tools
