James Grace Associates are recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Counterbalance Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our reputable client based in Grantham, Lincolnshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with a proven background in counterbalance forklift operation looking to secure a permanent role through a temp-to-perm arrangement. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the warehouse, maintaining safety standards, and supporting logistics processes. 1. Operate counterbalance forklifts to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
2. Assist with stock replenishment, inventory management, and pallet stacking as required.
3. Conduct safety checks on equipment daily and report any maintenance issues to management.
4. Ensure all warehouse activities adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
5. Maintain accurate stock records and support inventory control procedures.
6. Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily operational targets.
7. Previous experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse environment.
8. Strong understanding of health and safety practices within a warehouse setting.
9. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
10. Reliability and commitment to adhering to safety protocols and working hours.
11. Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Monday to Friday 7am-4pm
Overtime available paid at premium
