Facilities Manager - Permanent - Hayes, UB3
Hours: 40 per week, 08:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Duties & Responsibilities
* Manage daily hard services and critical infrastructure in line with centrally defined systems by the Facilities Department.
* Coordinate contractors, consultants, and service partners on site according to contract mechanisms.
* Audit infrastructure and building services, including fire, security, water hygiene, vertical transport, utilities, and critical plant, using the CAFM system.
* Monitor health, safety & compliance activities across the estate, adhering to the BAML Health and Safety Strategy and Meridian compliance system.
* Assist in mobilization, delivery, and coordination of project works on site.
* Provide facilities-related advice and support to the estate management team.
* Maintain clear reporting to the central Facilities department and Property Director, escalating issues as needed.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* NVQ level 6 in Facilities Management, Building Services, Estate Management, or related discipline.
* Membership of a relevant professional body such as BIFM, CIBSE, RICS, or IOSH.
* NEBOSH or IOSH accredited qualification in Health & Safety.
* Engineering background with understanding of M&E, critical infrastructure, contract management, and PPMs.
* Experience with CAFM and compliance software.
* Minimum of 10 years' experience in facilities or estate management.
* Experience managing external suppliers, contractors, and consultants, primarily in hard services.
* Experience coordinating health and safety activities.
* Familiarity with facilities documentation including O&M manuals, drawings, engineer reports, compliance certificates, and PPM planners.
* Experience in project environments and scheme handovers.
