Loans Support Analyst - Contract - Investment Banking - London

A leading global financial institution is seeking a Loans Support Analyst to join its Finance & Product Control function on a contract basis. This role focuses on loan trade lifecycle accuracy, systems reconciliation, and supporting both front-office and finance teams within a fast-paced investment banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Loan Systems Reconciliation
* Manage daily reconciliations between WSO (Wall Street Office) and Murex for loan trades and positions.
* Proactively follow up on outstanding issues and escalate aged breaks where required.
* Ensure lifecycle servicing events (e.g., paydowns) are accurately captured in WSO.
* Review and validate new trades, ensuring correct booking and downstream processing.
Front-to-Back Coordination
* Liaise with Front Office, Trade Support, Operations, and WSO teams to address restructures, amendments, and booking issues.
* Perform independent calculations of delayed compensation for daily P&L accruals.
* Review settlement and pricing memos, highlighting discrepancies.
