What You Will Be Doing
* Providing 2nd line phone and ticket escalation support for both residential customers and the Customer Service team.
* Delivering thorough and robust troubleshooting of broadband, telephone, and Wi-Fi issues.
* Using internal systems to diagnose faults, support repair processes, and manage configuration changes.
* Assisting Installation Engineers with broadband and phone service activations and fault resolution.
* Supporting the Technical Support Team Lead in training and upskilling the Customer Service team in basic troubleshooting.
* Proactively developing your own technical knowledge through best practice forums, external workshops, and seminars.
Skills Required
* Previous experience in 1st and 2nd line technical support, troubleshooting issues directly with customers over the phone.
* Strong understanding of broadband and VoIP technologies, with hands-on experience diagnosing network and Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
* Ability to quickly identify root causes of complex issues and communicate solutions in a clear, customer-friendly way.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach for varying technical levels.
* Strong organisational and time management skills with a flexible, deadline-driven approach.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn with a positive, can-do attitude.
* Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset.
