Forrest Recruitment are pleased to announce we are working with a global manufacturing company who have been established for over 40 years. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Supervisor to oversee the smooth running of the accounts department – this role the potential to progress to Finance Manager. You will be involved in all round accounts using Sage 200 and your duties will include:
1. Purchase Ledger – processing supplier invoices/credits/payments runs
2. Sales Ledger – producing monthly customer statements
3. Credit Control – gentle reminders to customers to pay
4. Payroll – full end to end weekly for 55 staff using timesheets, calculating holidays/sickness, submitting RTI to HMRC, pensions auto enrolment using Sage Payroll, processing starters, leavers, SSP/SMP, yearend payroll, PAYE
5. VAT Returns
6. Bank Reconciliation
7. Liaising with suppliers and customers
8. Month end and year end accounts – preparing reports
9. Using Excel for reporting
Working Hours:
10. Monday to Friday
11. 9am to 5pm
To be successful you will need all round accounts experience and be a confident user of Sage 50/200. You will be an approachable, team player who is able to communicate at all levels. AAT qualified would be preferred, however will consider QBE.
