As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for:
1. Unloading/loading Vehicles
2. Goods In - Visual inspection and acceptance of incoming material and packaging to ensure consignments are correct as per purchase order and quality requirements
3. Storage of material in accordance with material control and product preservation procedures
4. Inventory movements ensuring system transactions are completed accurately
5. Order picking and delivery of kits to production
6. Picking and packaging of items for despatch
7. Cycle count inventory to ensure accurate stock status
8. Ensuring externally stored material is suitably covered to prevent contamination
9. Work with Stores Team Leader to improve operating procedures to continuously meet customer expectations
10. Assist in stock take process according to company procedures
11. Comply with regulations and policies in environmental, health and safety and quality
12. Participate in risk assessments and health and safety audits
13. Daily housekeeping of warehouse and yard area to ensure areas are clean and tidy
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role, you should have:
14. Experience working in a stores environment
15. Well organised and capable of prioritising and multi-tasking, and working to agreed schedules
16. Must be computer literate, experience in the use of MRP systems
17. Self-motivated
18. Flexible approach to the workload
19. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential for the role
20. Counter balance forklift driving license
