Calling passionate Physics educators!

Do you have a talent for making complex scientific concepts clear and engaging? Are you eager to inspire a love of Physics in students?

Join our dynamic team at a thriving Hounslow community school!

We're searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic Physics teacher to join our department for a one-year fixed-term contract starting in September. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people, fostering a curiosity and understanding of the fascinating world of Physics.

What You'll Do:

* Craft and deliver captivating Physics lessons for students across various age groups (potentially KS3, KS4 and/or KS5).
* Cultivate a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a passion for scientific exploration.
* Utilize innovative teaching methods to make Physics concepts engaging and accessible to all students.
* Play a vital role in curriculum development, ensuring it aligns with national standards and ignites student interest.
* Guide and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
* Contribute to the pastoral care and wellbeing of your students, fostering a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
* Collaborate with colleagues within the Science department to share best practices and continuously improve the Science curriculum.

Who You Are:

* A qualified teacher with QTS and a specialism in Physics.
* Minimum of 1 year's teaching experience in a secondary school setting (more is preferred).
* Possess a deep knowledge of Physics and a passion for scientific discovery that sparks curiosity in students.
* Adept at creating engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
* A strong believer in fostering a love of science and critical thinking in students.
* Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
