A brilliant opportunity has just become available based in Somerset, for a reputable and growing company, who are a leader player within their field. You will primarily based at their site in Somerset, however travel will be required to the other sites across the south west.
The Role:
*
Supervise a team of 5 engineers.
*
Notify the Site Service Manager when parts and materials arrive for scheduled jobs.
*
Source and order required spare parts.
*
Prepare and manage job costings.
*
Provide cover for the Site Service Manager when required.
*
Contribute to risk assessments and method statement preparation.
*
Complete and submit daily timesheets in line with company procedures.
The Candidate:
*
Proven background in engineering or manufacturing.
*
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
*
Solid understanding of safety procedures and PPE requirements.
*
Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
*
Solution:oriented with strong problem:solving skills.
*
Proficient in computer applications and systems.
