Senior Fleet Mid Market Underwriter - Southampton / Reading
Join AXA Commercial as a Senior Fleet Mid Market Underwriter to help drive profitable growth and partner with brokers and customers in the fleet market. This position is based in Reading or Southampton, with a requirement to work away from home up to 60% of the week as part of client visits and industry events.
What you’ll be doing
* Underwrite existing Mid-Market business profitably, accurately, consistently, and in line with established underwriting practices using the full range of tools available.
* Build trading relationships with brokers, through visits and large case liaison, to maximise financial results and generate pipeline for new business.
* Contribute to meetings with brokers and end customers to portray AXA capabilities and secure new business opportunities.

* Experience in account monitoring, action planning, and decision making across underwriting scenarios in a Commercial environment.
* Sound understanding of insurance market and processes across commercial lines operations and knowledge of regulatory requirements, including treating customers fairly.
