We are helping our client, a fast-growth, global, luxury skincare business, to find a Marketplace Specialist.
Working closely with the Head of Ecommerce, this role is directly responsible for the day-to-day running of the brand's chosen marketplace partners with a 360 responsibility for paid and organic marketing and trading. The ideal candidate would be highly proficient in at least the Amazon Marketplace and/or TMall with additional platforms considered a distinct advantage. The role is multi-faceted; covering product launches, advertising, creative campaigns and reporting.
This role would suit somebody who is constantly researching the evolution of existing marketplaces, as well as being at the forefront of what is being developed globally. Someone who is driven by data but can apply insight effectively and someone that understands the nuances of country/region specific requirements to deliver effective strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
· Drive sales performance on Amazon and other marketplaces in order to meet and exceed sales targets.
· Identify new marketplaces to launch and take ownership of the end-to-end launch process, from research and pitch, to onboarding, activation, and daily operations.
· Take full responsibility for 360° account management on Amazon and other marketplaces, including product upload feeds, inventory control, compliance documentation, and backend updates.
· Build and maintain strong external relationships with marketplace contacts to secure brand-first positioning in marketing campaigns, homepage features, and seasonal pushes.
· Develop and execute strategies that work with marketplace algorithms to increase both paid and organic visibility in search results.
· Own marketplace PPC strategy: plan and implement full-funnel campaigns (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display), continuously optimise performance, and scale results through intelligent bidding and targeting.
· Leverage Amazon's DSP in partnership with agency support to deliver awareness and retargeting campaigns at scale.
· Utilise the full suite of marketplace reports and tools to extract actionable insights that drive performance; manage weekly reporting cadence and budget tracking.
· Collaborate with the Global Marketing Copy Editor to deliver search-optimised, conversion-driven product and brand content tailored to each marketplace.
· Manage and refine product feeds, ensuring flawless NPD launches and continual improvements to existing listings to enhance discoverability and conversion rates.
· Identify and implement additional traffic-driving strategies beyond retail media — including influencer partnerships, press features, advertorials, and off-site paid opportunities.
· Design, build, and optimise the Amazon Brand Store and other marketplace storefronts, testing new modules and measuring their impact on engagement and sales.
· Support the China Ecommerce Manager in growing Tmall and Little Red Book platforms, applying learnings from global marketplace success.
Other Duties may include:
· Support the Head of eCommerce by contributing to DTC sales performance reporting, helping shape weekly and monthly trading narratives.
· Assist with the execution of trading calendars, ensuring marketplace activity is aligned with key brand moments, campaigns, and commercial objectives.
· Monitor and report on DTC and marketplace KPIs including conversion, AOV, traffic, UPT, and profitability to provide a holistic performance view.
· Provide commercial analysis to inform pricing, markdown, and promotional decisions — using performance insights to identify sales levers and margin opportunities.
· Coordinate with Supply Chain, Performance Marketing, and Finance to support forecast accuracy, inventory planning, and budget reconciliation.
· Continuously improve reporting processes and dashboard outputs, ensuring stakeholders have access to relevant, actionable insights across channels.
