This is a permanent contract - 9 hours, term-time only (39 weeks per year) Salary: Sixth Form College Pay Spine Point 1-9 (£33,465 - £51,714 FTE) dependent on experience We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable Social Sciences teacher to join our team to teach across the provision (A level Psychology / Sociology and level 2 social sciences qualifications). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the department, contributing to the design, development, and delivery of an engaging curriculum that enables all students to achieve excellent progress. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers with a strong background in social sciences, particularly within the post-16 sector. Candidates should demonstrate secure and up-to-date subject knowledge. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills, alongside a strong commitment to student success. You will be a collaborative team player who values working closely with colleagues and is willing to contribute fully to the wider life of the department and college. Alongside this, we are seeking to appoint an additional 1.0 FTE contract for a teacher of A level Psychology or Sociology.
