The Role
You will act as a central point of expertise, guiding, supporting, and auditing property and residential management teams to minimise risk and ensure compliance across the portfolio. The role has a strong emphasis on Higher-Risk Buildings (HRB) and engagement with Building Safety Act requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor and manage annual health & safety and fire risk assessment programmes
*
Support residential teams with Building Safety Act compliance, HRB documentation, and regulator submissions
*
Review and track actions arising from audits, risk assessments, and compliance systems
*
Ensure statutory inspections, testing, and examinations are completed on time
*
Provide guidance on health & safety legislation, codes of practice, and regulatory changes
*
Assist with the preparation and review of risk assessments and method statements
*
Support accident investigations and ensure appropriate reporting and follow-up actions
*
Deliver health & safety training support and inductions as required
*
Carry out in-house audits across managed properties
*
Support event set-up safety and compliance where applicable
About You
Essential:
*
NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety (NEBOSH Diploma preferred)
*
Proven experience in residential property management, including HRB environments
*
Strong knowledge of health & safety, fire safety, and Building Safety Act legislation
*
Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations
*
Confident working with multiple stakeholders in a client-side environment
*
Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
*
Experience with asbestos management, fire engineering, or event safety
*
IOSH membership
*
Knowledge of Building Regulations and CDM Regulations
