Your new role
As a Project Support Officer (PSO), you will play a key role in maintaining effective programme operations. You will supporternance, planning, documentation management, reporting and stakeholder engagement — ensuring the programme runs efficiently and according to established standards.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Deploying and maintaining the PMO Handbook as the central guide forernance, roles, responsibilities and agreed ways of working.
2. Managing the RAIDD Log, ensuring all risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and decisions are accurately recorded, tracked and escalated.
3. Supporting programme planning by maintaining roadmaps, delivery plans, milestones, timelines and dependencies.
4. Preparing and coordinating Steeringmittee documentation, including pre‑reads, minutes, decision logs and follow‑up actions.
5. Owning the weekly Programme Highlight Reports, gathering updates and synthesising them into clear, concise summaries.
6. Organising and coordinating workshops, including logistics, attendee management, materials preparation and follow‑up actions.
7. Creating and distributing both Fortnightly and Quarterly Newsletters, ensuring accurate, engaging updates for stakeholders.
8. Maintaining the Ongoing Change Manual, ensuring processes and guidance remain current as the programme evolves.
9. Managing programme documentation through SharePoint, ensuring strong version control, clear structure, permissions management and a single source of truth for all deliverables.
10. Tracking team availability through the Time Off Tracker to support effective scheduling and resource planning.

14. Experience supporting projects, programmes or PMO functions, ideally within structured orplex environments.
15. Confidence using collaboration tools such as SharePoint, along with an understanding of document management and version control.
16. The ability to manage multiple priorities, organise workloads and maintain clear oversight across programme activities.
