Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll contribute to the ongoing review and enhancement of asset key performance indicators (KPIs).Using a range of analytical techniques and visualisation tools, you’ll translate complex data into clear, actionable insights—helping the business understand assets and the impact of operational decisions. You’ll also be responsible for developing robust, sustainable reporting solutions that enable dynamic analysis, are easily reproducible and deliver timely, high-quality insight to stakeholders.What you’ll be doingBe responsible for delivery of consistent asset KPIs, partnering with operational teams to support confident, data-driven decisionsTurn complex asset data into actionable insight, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to improve reliabilityComplete and support regulatory data requests, ensuring robust data gathering, validation and cleansing across teamsContribute to the development and automation of asset models (condition, criticality and value) that underpin business planningChampion high-quality, accessible data by working cross-functionally to improve data capture, governance and usabilityDeliver clear, engaging reports and dashboards that bring data to life and support business performanceSupport flooding assurance validation during high-volume periods, ensuring accuracy and resilience when it matters mostWhat we’re looking for a candidate with:We’re seeking a candidate who brings a strong mix of technical expertise, analytical thinking and a passion for data-driven decision-making:Educated to A-level, HNC or equivalent in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or relevant experience in a similar roleExperience working with data management systems, processes and structured data, including relational databasesStrong understanding of data hierarchies and how data is transformed into meaningful insightExperience working with asset data, ideally within utilities or a comparable operational environmentGood understanding of data quality principles and the importance of robust, reliable dataProficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Databricks) and languages such as SQL, Python or RExperience using data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI or Tableau) to communicate insights effectivelyExperience with FME and GIS is desirableFamiliarity with SAP systems (e.g. SAP ALM or S/4HANA) would be advantageousWe invest in our people - as a valued employee, you’ll be entitled to:Personal private health careGenerous double match pension – contribute 7% and Anglian Water will contribute 14%, giving a total contribution of 21%24-hour Virtual GP service for you and your household25 days annual leave – rising with length of service and the ability to buy moreLife assurance (up to 8 x salary)Personal accident cover (up to 5 x salary)Excellent family friendly policies, such as 26 weeks full pay for maternity / adoption leave, as well as 4 weeks paid paternity / partner leave.
