This role will offer the opportunity to make recommendations to senior management, mentor junior colleagues and influence the business and customer outcomes for one of the biggest Building Societies in the country.
About the role
As a Lead Product and Pricing Manager you will be pivotal in analysing and managing the Society's mortgage product range to meet key metrics including margin, lending mix and volume. You will review the market and evaluate products, making clear recommendations to senior management to ensure that our product range meets our members needs, drives our Purposeful lending and optimises commercial outcomes. Key to the role is identifying opportunities to improve our product range whilst operating to our risk metrics.
What will you bring to the role?
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Previous Product Management or Pricing experience
Being highly numerate and readily able to interpret disparate financial trends
Experience within financial services would be preferable
Problem solving skills with ability to draw clear conclusions and recommendations from multiple data sources / trends; create simplicity from complexity
Self-motivation
Excellent communication skills written and verbal
Being very well organised and having good attention to detail
Being comfortable working in a fast moving environment
