Overview
As a Support Worker at St. Anne’s Community Services, based in Leeds (LS8), you will provide high quality care and support to clients to enable them to live their best life. A UK driving license is essential to drive clients' vehicles. Shifts include days, nights and sleep overs. This role involves taking clients to activities such as cinema, bowling and shopping and supporting their interests and aspirations.

Main duties
* Person Centred - Prepare person-centred support plans with clients which reflect their views and aspirations, review and amend them as needed, and consider the client’s changing needs and wishes.
* Respectful - Support clients to fulfil their aspirations, helping them to live as independently as possible, including accompanying them on social visits and events, supporting interests and hobbies, promoting choice, arranging activities and outings, and developing skills and knowledge.
* Open - Communicate in an open and transparent way with clients and other team members, acting with integrity and following through on commitments.
* Understanding - Provide personal care where required with respect for client choices and dignity (including assistance with washing and toileting).
* Dedicated - Maintain accurate records, including daily notes, with full involvement of the client.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Care Certificate or required to undertake Care Certificate
* Current driver licence
Desirable criteria
* Previous experience working in care (employment or carer at home)
