About the Role
Working closely with the wider team you will support the delivery of the People Services Strategy, possess an understanding and awareness of national NHS reporting requirements, data standards, and definitions, information data flows, and benchmarking. You will be responsible for the data quality held in the Trust's People Services systems and for ensuring the day to day delivery of all statutory and ad-hoc reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Support delivery of the People Services Strategy and understand national NHS reporting requirements.
* Maintain data quality in People Services systems, ensuring compliance with national standards and best practices.
* Deliver statutory and ad‑hoc reports, responding to enquiries from customers and data providers.
* Provide statistical and analytical information to support the People Services Strategy and the wider organisation.
* Ensure reporting strategy meets governance standards and aligns with policy and procedures.
* Contribute to performance monitoring and provide an information analysis service across People Services and organisational managers.
* Maintain ESR data quality, ensuring national standards are adhered to.
Required Qualifications and Skills
* Ability to produce workforce intelligence from local systems and deliver succinct reporting to support stakeholder requirements.
* Advanced Excel skills and strong technical, analytical, communication and organisational skills, with a flair for improvement.
* HNC/HND in a subject with substantial numeric content or equivalent level of acquired knowledge.
* Knowledge of NHS systems including ESRBI is desirable.
* Experience working flexibly under pressure, meeting conflicting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
