JOB TITLE: Technical Producer ABOUT THE ROLE A BRIEF SUMMARY Our next-generation Production Hub housed in The Westworks building is a creative and technology leading media hub made up of production, post-production, and live studios, this is complemented by market leading outside broadcast resources, and we want our candidate to work across both. We are looking for a dynamic Technical Producer to work with our production team driving forward all our productions with bold and innovative ideas. Responsible for the technical planning, client management, and delivery of live broadcast operations across major sports venues and events. The role spans OB production management, technical resourcing, client liaison, and ensuring high-quality broadcasts and smooth operational execution across multiple clients and competitions. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR · Act as primary technical and operational contact for key clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and smooth delivery. · Attend client sites approximately once every month to review operations, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships. · Produce quotes for kit rental and technical elements, manage resourcing, and oversee logistical planning for new technical developments. · Liaise with clubs, broadcasters, production teams, and external suppliers to ensure alignment on technical and operational requirements. · Translate production requirements into clear technical briefs for OB facilities, ensuring all new and existing technical elements are delivered effectively. · Be onsite for a number of our outside broadcasts, supporting and guaranteeing the delivery of the production. · Adhering to our company H&S policy and ensuring that all company risk assessments are observed where applicable to your role, taking ownership of improvements and escalating concerns where necessary. THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE · A technical qualification in Broadcast Engineering, Electronics, IT, or related discipline is preferable. · Experience of working in a production centre, or on outside broadcasts is preferable. · A keen interest in broadcast systems, signal flow, and media technology. · Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn on the job. · Good communication skills and a team-player mindset. · Flexibility to work occasional shifts, weekends, or travel as project demands require. · Excellent problem solving skills. · Good interpersonal skills. · An ability to work effectively under pressure to strict deadlines. · An ability to work effectively within a team. · Excellent attention to detail. · Willingness to work unsociable hours when required, including weekends and evenings.
