We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Advisor to join our busy People Services team. You will work with colleagues at all levels across the organisation, providing sound professional HR advice related to people matters, change projects, terms and conditions, and policies. You will also be involved in training, facilitation, and other project work.
You should hold a minimum of CIPD Associate membership or have equivalent qualifications/experience, and be passionate about HR. Your previous HR experience, understanding of employment legislation, and expertise in people and change management will enable you to confidently support managers and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives. Experience working in a HR department within a complex and unionised organisation is essential, along with strong verbal and written communication skills adaptable to various situations. Effective time management and prioritization skills are also required.
The role supports the NHS Highland area, including Argyll and Bute. The position can be based in Inverness or the Argyll and Bute area, with regular attendance in Inverness. This is a permanent, full-time role of 37 hours per week. We are also open to candidates seeking flexible working hours.
