Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a Flexible Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Wigan. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about education and looking for flexible working arrangements, with immediate start dates available as soon as registration is complete.
Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students across a range of subjects in the case of teacher absences. No subject specialism is required – general cover across the curriculum will be expected. There may also be specific subject cover available. You will be delivering pre-prepared work, maintaining classroom discipline, and ensuring a positive learning environment.
Key Details:
* Location: WN1
* Start Date: Immediate (following registration)
* Contract Type: Flexible (Part-Time and Full-Time options available)
* School Type: Secondary (ages 11–16)
* Pay: £90 to £120 per day (dependent on experience)
Ideal Candidate:
* Confident in managing classroom behaviour
* Able to follow lesson plans and ensure learning continues in the teacher’s absence
* Reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic
* Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential – suitable for graduates or those considering a career in teaching
