The Role

We are currently seeking a German-speaking Complaints Handler to join our Customer Experience team. In this role, you will manage and resolve customer complaints from German-speaking markets, ensuring all cases are handled fairly, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and company standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle and resolve customer complaints in German and English, via phone, email, and written correspondence.
* Investigate complaints thoroughly, gathering all relevant information and documentation.
* Provide clear, fair, and timely responses in line with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
* Maintain accurate and detailed case records.
* Identify trends and root causes to help improve processes and customer outcomes.
* Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure effective complaint resolution.

Skills & Experience Required

* Fluent German and English (written and spoken) – essential.
* Previous experience in complaints handling, customer service, insurance, or financial services is highly desirable.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
* A calm, empathetic, and professional approach to dealing with sensitive situations.
* Knowledge of insurance products and regulatory complaint handling standards is an advantage.
