1. Provide maintenance and engineering support for site facilities, equipment, and systems, including contractor management.

Responsibilities
1. Provide maintenance support to enhance safety, personnel, cost-efficiency, and service quality.
2. Improve maintenance performance and reduce costs using best practices and root cause analysis, including daily health checks and condition monitoring.
3. Lead or support improvement projects, from minor changes to CAPEX approvals and commissioning.
4. Prioritize tasks effectively using technical expertise to maintain high equipment reliability.
5. Manage contractors and permits to ensure quality and value for money.
6. Ensure availability of spare parts and contracted services.
7. Own and support shutdowns and start-ups in your area.
8. Communicate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental, health & safety, and business needs.
9. Monitor energy consumption for efficiency improvements.
10. Assist in uploading maintenance data into the IT system (Build app).
11. Respond promptly to safety tags in the system to resolve issues across the site.
About You
1. Experience with facility equipment such as compressors, boilers, substations, fire systems, HVAC, etc., is advantageous.
2. Knowledge of statutory requirements like electrical inspections, PSSR, LOLER, legionella, and H&S regulations.
3. Understanding of building management systems (Johnson Controls / TREND).
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using RCA tools.
5. Leadership in activities to improve asset reliability.
6. Engineering background, qualified to at least City & Guilds Level 3.
7. Electrical qualification (City & Guilds Level 3 / 18th Edition BS7671).
8. Effective communication and decision-making skills.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
10. Ability to prioritize based on impact and organize work efficiently.
11. Knowledge of CDM regulations and health & safety standards.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience leading statutory inspections, managing utility maintenance, contractors, and high-risk activities. Qualifications include IOSH/NEBOSH, City & Guilds Level 3, 18th Edition, 2391, and project management and permit training.
