About The RoleThe School invites applications for a new faculty position, open to candidates at academic levels—from Lecturer to Senior Lecturer grade. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience. We are seeking creative individuals with a bold vision and a proven track record of research excellence. We particularly welcome applicants with an expertise in the following area:Myocardial Function and Disease – hiPSC-based disease modelling using CRISPR based methods, molecular and cellular biology of cardiomyocytes, autophagy and ageing, RNA and gene-based therapeutic approaches for heart failureSuccessful candidates will have:A strong record of first or lead-author publicationsDemonstrated ability to conduct independent researchA proven track record of securing research fundingA commitment to contributing to teaching and academic leadershipThis is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
