The Best Connection Group - Manchester are currently recruiting a Furniture Repair Technician for our client in Failsworth.
This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work. Previous furniture repair experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. Candidates with woodwork, joinery, DIY, or general workshop experience are encouraged to apply.
Hours & Pay
* Monday to Friday
* 8:30am - 4:30pm
* 45-minute unpaid lunch break
* £13.00 per hour
The Role
Duties will include:
* Repairing and restoring damaged furniture
* Carrying out cosmetic touch-ups and minor repairs
* Using hand and power tools safely
* Inspecting products to ensure quality standards are met
* Preparing furniture for dispatch
* Keeping the work area clean and organised
Requirements
* Some woodwork, joinery, DIY, or practical hands-on experience preferred
* Good attention to detail
* Willingness to learn new skills
* Reliable with a positive attitude
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
