Then you sound like a Worldpayer. About the team To lead and manage the sales team in achieving revenue targets, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships. The Sales Manager is responsible for developing sales strategies, coaching team members, and ensuring the successful execution of sales plans. Our Gateshead based Sales Team have one of the most exciting futures ahead of them as we help customers to enhance the way they process face to face and ecommerce payments. Our customers expect world class service, and their customers expect world class experience when making purchases. You will be responsible for selling Worldpay’s solutions that will help revolutionize the way our customers operate in this ever-changing world. What you’ll own Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching. Foster a high-performance, goal-oriented team culture. Build and maintain strong relationships with key colleagues and stakeholders. Oversee the resolution of customer issues and ensure satisfaction. Track team performance against KPIs and sales targets. Prepare regular sales reports and present insights to senior management. Use CRM tools to manage pipelines and monitor sales activities. Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align efforts. Provide feedback on customer needs and market demands. Ensure clear communication of goals, expectations, and updates. Knowledge of company products, services and business operations to enable resolution of customer inquiries What you’ll Bring Strong leadership and motivational skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Strategic thinking and analytical mindset Results-driven with a focus on performance Proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal Good understanding of the sales process including Telesales and on-boarding journeys Solid analytical skill to determine customer needs coupled with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to determine the right solution at the right time Analytical skills to determine client business needs and requirements Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Requires excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to remain calm under various levels of pressure Communicate ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner appropriate to any audience Worldpay perks - what we’ll bring for you We know it’s bigger than just your career.
