An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Manufacturing UK Finance team, supporting the UK Manufacturing function of more than 1,000 employees.
Salary: Circa £32,000-£35,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working depending upon project classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship

As a Finance Officer, you will be embedded within a multi-function environment, providing a service to both finance and non-finance functions in order to support the delivery of the annual financial objectives.
This role is an entry level finance role, from which you will gain broad experience of manufacturing finance, involving cost base and projects, as well as business partnering. As a result of the evolving workload, this position offers great potential to progress within the team.
You'll be a key player in the month end closing activities, gaining exposure of a SAP 4/HANA implementation. You'll also support the compilation of monthly project based performance measures and metrics.
What we're looking for from you:
* Whilst an accountancy qualification would be an advantage, it is not essential. However, a keen interest in Finance is a must!
* Experience of working within a manufacturing environment
* Background of project and/or overhead cost control
* Experience of working as a Business Partner to Non-Finance stakeholders
* Knowledge of SAP R3
* Excellent MS Excel skills
* Ability to communicate well with people from all functions
