Global Automotive OEM supplier, Tier 1.
Key Responsibilities
1. Take charge of the end-to-end purchasing activities for automotive programs.
2. Own supplier quality, cost, and timing, ensuring flawless execution.
3. Partner with the Commodity Buyer for strategic sourcing and supplier management.
4. Manage closed purchase orders and ensure adherence to payment schedules.
5. Oversee PPAP timelines, track project hours, and contribute to cash flow management.
Qualifications and Experience
* 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, bonus points for plastic parts experience.
* CIPS qualification advantageous.
* Strong background in 1st Tier automotive, with experience in program purchasing, financial and cash management, and technical negotiations.
* Solid knowledge of company and commercial law.
* Demonstrated project management skills in high-pressure environments.
