Join us as an Equipment Maintenance Manager at Beauparc
We are seeking a dedicated Equipment Maintenance Manager based in Bromborough, reporting to and deputising for the Equipment and Mobilisation Manager. You will manage 2 field service engineers, several sub-contractors, and be supported by two administrators.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to ensure cost-effectiveness, compliance, safety, and minimal downtime.
* Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with customers.
* Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities.
* Respond promptly to maintenance or breakdown requests.
* Ensure effective communication with customers during resolution processes.
* Review engineers’ worksheets for completion, first-time fix, and identify further work needs.
* Schedule return visits, modifications, overhauls, and refurbishments.
* Arrange permits to work and RAMS packages for customers.
* Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance services.
* Collaborate with other departments for smooth operations.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate should have experience in maintaining recycling and waste management equipment such as balers and compactors, with a background in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Relevant qualifications and skills include:
* Experience with maintenance documentation and legal requirements.
* Understanding of electrical circuits, diagnostics, hydraulics, and mechanical engineering.
* Health and safety certifications (IOSH/NEBOSH).
* Knowledge of risk assessments and method statements.
* Excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency with IT systems, MS Office, CRM, ERP.
* Strong communication skills.
* Can-do attitude, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
* Full UK driving license and eligibility to work in the UK.
