Our school is a remarkable place and has been educating girls since 1888. Salary £21,000 per annum (pro rated from £28,000 per annum)

Salary £21,700 per annum (depending on experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Biology Department at Guildford High School. We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to provide support and classroom assistance during practical lessons. The importance of laboratory work in our curriculum means that our technicians play a key role in assisting the departmental teaching staff to ensure a safe, efficient and well‑organised learning environment for our pupils. The successful candidate will be passionate about laboratory work and enjoy supporting others in a dynamic science environment.

The role is 37.5 hours a week (5 days a week), term time only starting 20 April 2026. The salary is £21,700 per annum, depending on experience (pro‑ra­ta to the full time equivalent of £28,000 per annum).
