We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Team Leader to join our children’s home at Silver Birch Care (Residential Services). This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the management team and making a real difference in the lives of young people.
About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will support the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring that high standards of care are consistently delivered. You will help lead the team and create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing a safe, supportive, and child‑centred environment
* Leading shifts and guiding care staff
* Supporting care planning, record‑keeping, and reporting
* Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
* Promoting independence and positive outcomes for young people
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 1 year experience in residential childcare
* Experience working within an Ofsted‑regulated children’s home
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and child‑centred practice
* A positive, resilient, and committed approach
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
