An established and fast-paced engineering/manufacturing operation is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead, motivate and drive performance within a busy production environment. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on responsibility, enjoys developing people, and takes pride in delivering high-quality output safely, efficiently and on time.
To be successful, you will come from a similar manufacturing, automotive, engineering or remanufacturing environment and will have proven experience managing teams of 15+ staff.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead, manage and motivate a team of technicians to deliver work to the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency
2. Ensure production schedules are met in line with customer requirements and overall business demands
3. Monitor and manage labour, materials and resources to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations
4. Enforce all health & safety, quality and standard operating procedures consistently
5. Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, proposing solutions and supporting implementation
