About the role
* As a Senior Paraplanner you will play a pivotal role in supporting Wealth Planners to deliver high-quality holistic financial advice.
* Actively support Wealth Planners by carrying out thorough research across pensions, protection, investment management, tax planning and other financial planning areas to enable strong client outcomes.
* Prepare client-centric suitability reports and other technical documents in line with regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.
* Provide complex technical input and proactive support that enhances the end-to-end advice process.
* Undertake accurate calculations and modelling, including cash-flow analysis, to support recommendations that align with each client’s circumstances.
* Draft clear, fair and compliant communications that support good outcomes
* Act as a reference point for technical queries within the team and support the development of junior paraplanners.
You will be considered for this role if you have:
* A minimum of Level 4 qualification (Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent)
* Strong experience working in a paraplanner capacity within a financial planning environment
* Excellent technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and taxation
* Strong report-writing and communication skills.
* Proactive approach to research, problem-solving and collaboration.
* A strong compliance focus, always acting in the best interests of clients and aligned with regulatory expectations.
