Working as part of the Medical Education Directorate, you will undertake a wide range of duties to deliver a confidential secretarial and administrative support service, including diary management, meeting organisation, and other support as required to the Director of Medical Education, Deputy Director of Medical Education and the Business & Programmes Manager. Based at the RIE you will also be responsible for day to day supervision of the admin staff within the directorate.
Responsibilities
* Provide confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Director of Medical Education, the Deputy Director of Medical Education, and the Business & Programmes Manager, including diary management and meeting organisation.
* Deliver day-to-day supervision of the administrative staff within the Medical Education Directorate.
Qualifications
* HNC/HND in Office Administration (or related subject) or equivalent level of experience; ability to operate within a senior administrative and supervisory role; use initiative and prioritise tasks with minimal instruction.
* Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed organisational abilities; able to deal confidently with senior managers, staff and external stakeholders.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, in particular Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams and SharePoint.
