Job Summary:
Dynamic family run Freight Forwarders with over a 35-year history are seeking an experienced Senior Import LCL Operator to join them in their office in Witham
We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic individual with a minimum of 5 years experience in freight forwarding, with a strong focus on Deep Sea Imports. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the end-to-end LCL Imports, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage customer relationships and operational tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Arranging air, sea & road import bookings
* Dealing with overseas offices & partners
* Working start to finish on files
* Processing sales & purchases
* Updating new client bookings in shared drives with pricing.
* Looking after key accounts
* Raising Invoices
* Managing direct client accounts
* Ensure customer queries and complaints are resolved efficiently and effectively in line with our policies and procedures.
* Strong knowledge of freight systems and invoicing tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
