We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Deli Supervisor to help lead our deli, deepen relationships with local suppliers and farmers, and engage with the community through food.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting the day-to-day running of the deli and leading shifts in the manager's absence
* Building positive relationships with local farmers, producers, and artisan suppliers
* Assisting with ordering, stock control, stock rotation, and minimising waste
* Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and legal compliance standards
* Supervising, coaching, and supporting deli team members to deliver high standards
* Providing knowledgeable, friendly service and sharing information with customers about locally sourced produce
* Monitoring product quality, presentation, and availability throughout the day
* Helping to drive sales through product recommendations and excellent customer service
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within a delicatessen, farm shop, food retail, or hospitality environment
* Good knowledge of local food products, artisan producers, and seasonal ingredients
* Confidence working with fresh, seasonal, and specialist products
* A hands‑on, organised approach with strong attention to detail
* Ability to motivate and support a team in a busy environment
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* A genuine passion for food provenance, sustainability, and supporting local producers
* A friendly, professional attitude and a strong community‑focused mindset
* Flexibility to work weekends and busy seasonal periods as required
