Hays are pleased to be working in partnership with a locally established and reputable organisation to support their requirement for a permanent part-time Bookkeeper who will positively support the business in day-to-day transactional finance and administrative operations. Due to a change in structure within the organisation, the requirement for someone to be based in the office dealing with internal queries relating to daily finance and administrative tasks has become available.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be a key point of contact within the organisation for daily tasks within finance and administration including purchase ledger invoice processing, posting journals, bank reconciliations, and providing financial information for the external Accountant. You will also be happy to support in any administration requirements including answering the phone and dealing with the mailbox.

To succeed, you will be a dedicated finance professional who is looking to secure a part-time permanent role that will positively support a local business in its daily operations and work towards their common goals alongside its wider team. You will be comfortable working independently and able to deal with a busy workload that requires prioritisation and attention to detail.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered a competitive base salary of up to £28,000 FTE and the opportunity to join a locally established organisation with a small but collaborative team of individuals.
