A client organisation is looking for multiple experienced S&T Team Leaders to support critical maintenance, faulting, inspection, and renewal works across the network.

The Role:
As an S&T Team Leader, you'll be responsible for leading and motivating a team delivering safety-critical rail works across the network. You'll ensure all activities are completed safely, compliantly, and to the highest operational standards.
This is a hands-on role requiring a strong technical signalling background alongside leadership capability and a proactive approach to safety, quality, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and organise signalling maintenance, inspection, faulting, and renewal activities
Ensure safe systems of work and robust safety arrangements are maintained at all times
Monitor quality, compliance, and team competence across all works
Ensure tools, vehicles, plant, and equipment remain fit for purpose
Produce operational and compliance reports to support delivery performance
Support and mentor team members while setting high working standards
Work collaboratively with Network Rail teams, contractors, and stakeholders
Essential Experience:
Previous Team Leader experience
Organising and delivering signalling works safely and efficiently
Strong understanding of signalling maintenance, faulting, inspection, and renewal techniques
Knowledge of relevant Network Rail standards including:
NR/L3/SIG/10663
NR/L3/SIG/11231
Valid IRSE Combined Signalling Maintainer & Fault Finder Licence (1.4.230)
Desirable:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work shifts, weekends, nights, and on-call as required
