Driver Hire is currently recruiting for a Temporary Administrative Assistant on behalf of our client – a leading distributor of pipeline & heating solutions serving multi industry sectors and trades. The requirement is to support in their operations team.
If you have relevant industry experience and skills, are organised, proactive, and confident at juggling these kind of admin tasks, we want to hear from you!
This is a part time position, initially for 3 months, maybe extended, and with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
Hours are flexible, and can be arranged to suit the individual. Ideally someone who can work 3/4 days a week, between 9am - 2pm. Remote working during school holidays etc may also be considerd. Our client is based in Tullos, Aberdeen.
📝 Key Responsibilities:
*
Chasing and following up on supplier purchase orders
*
Maintaining accurate digital and/or physical filing systems
*
Assisting with order processing and general order management
*
Providing administrative support across various departments
*
Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers to keep things running smoothly
*
Handling general admin tasks as needed

Previous relevant industry and role experience
* Good attention to detail
*
Great organisation and time management skills
*
Clear, professional communication – both written and spoken
*
Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
*
Able to work independently and take initiative
*
Make a positive contribution to existing team

Experience in supply chain, procurement, or order management
*
Familiarity with filing, invoicing, or CRM systems
