Hazel Tree Education are supporting a SEMH secondary school in Chorley in their search for an SEMH Teacher. Full-time, Monday- Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, September start. The secondary school caters for with a range of complex needs preparing young people for the future and helps them to develop the skills and qualities they will need to make a positive contribution to the community. The school caters for up to 88 learners, and strive to nurture and cultivate self esteem and confidence. Standards for behaviour are high, and matched with a positive ethos of mutual respect. Applicants must have: * A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE with QTS and experience teaching in UK schools * The ability to track, monitor and report on pupils’ progress * A resilient nature, excellent communication skills and a creative, inspirational approach to classroom practice * Strong behaviour management skills * Two references including most recent employer * Right to work in the UK * An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to obtain one What we offer: * Weekly or monthly pay to suit you * Competitive rates of pay - all pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
