Responsibilities include:
* Work closely with our care home managers and staff to understand the unique needs and preferences of our residents
* Prepare surfaces and apply paint, wallpaper, and other decorative finishes to enhance the appearance of our care homes
* Select colours, textures, and materials that create a warm and inviting atmosphere for our residents
* Install and maintain decorative elements such as artwork, mirrors, and accessories to enhance the overall aesthetic of our care homes
* Coordinate with maintenance, facilities and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of projects
* Conduct regular inspections of our care homes to identify maintenance needs and address any issues promptly
* Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, our staff, and our residents
About you, the successful Painter and Decorator
* Previous experience painting and decorating
* Well organised and able to prioritise work.
* Ability to work on own initiative and manage time effectively.
* Working knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act.
* excellent understanding of COSHH
* Must have a current driving license.
