Part time Youth Worker Are you an experienced youth worker with level 3 Youth work qualification? Are you looking for an opportunity to get further develop your youth work skills and leadership? Are you passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of young people in your community? The Community Youth Project is recruiting for a part time youth worker to lead the delivery of youth work three evenings per week in Crewkerne and Chard Youth Worker – Crewkerne Tuesday and Wednesday evening and Chard Thursday evening. A total of 14 hours per week £15.50per hour (Qualified to Level 3 Youth Work), £14.28per hour for unqualified experienced youth worker. We will consider candidates who are unqualified but with more than 2 years experience of leading open access youth work provision. The main purpose of the Youth worker post is to lead in the planning and delivery of face to face activities for young people aged 8 -17 years, to build effective developmental relationships with the young people providing support, advice and guidance. We provide training and regular professional supervision. The posts are subject to satisfactory references and require an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance which we arrange and pay for.
