Our stores operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, so we offer a wide variety of shift patterns to fit around your lifestyle. If you’re looking for flexible working, we’ll work with you on your shifts. Weekend working is a requirement of the role, and we may need to be flexible with your work pattern.
In our in‑store Pharmacies customers expect the same warmth and friendliness they get anywhere else in the store, and they expect you to be confident and relaxed when discussing personal health issues, quickly resolving problems and directing them to the right products.
Responsibilities
* Accurately assemble and process prescriptions.
* Drive awareness of all extra pharmacy services (e.g., Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews).
* Support the Pharmacist with delivery and effective record‑keeping of patient services such as blood pressure checks and stop‑smoking schemes.
* Collect prescriptions from doctors’ surgeries on customers’ behalf and bring them to the store ready for collection.
* Complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, then train as a Dispensing Assistant to continue your pharmacy training.
* Work mid‑shifts and late shifts, and be willing to pick up overtime.
* Saturday and weekend shifts will be required.
