Role Summary Reporting to the Director of Global Transformation & Change, the role will focus on the impact of change due to the IT Organisation Transformation initially, and latterly as other areas within technology transform and evolve. The role will aim to minimize the (negative) effects and maximise the benefits of organizational change, focusing on the people side of change – identifying the impact on people and getting them ready for it, working through any resistance to change. Key Responsibilities The successful applicant will be responsible for building and maintaining a framework for assessing and managing the impacts of change. This includes creating metrics to measure the success of change. You will be empowered to work with stakeholders, impacted people and relevant groups to develop comms & training programmes. You will not necessarily be responsible for the delivery of training programmes but will be expected to collaborate with resources that do to ensure they are appropriate and successful. Training needs will also include recommendations for areas of continuous improvement. Working closely with the Director of Global Transformation & Change, you will be responsible for creating a plan for all change, prioritising activity within it, reviewing and reporting regularly on progress, impact, risks, issues, and success. About You This role centres mainly on an individual’s ability to communicate, analyse/assess impacts of change, think strategically on the best way to manage the impacts, have an eye for detail across multiple threads / pieces of work in flight at any given time and be able to work in environment that can experience frequent change. Specifically : • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, working collaboratively across the group and wider business teams. • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities, ensuring their message is understood and striving to understand others. • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in change management processes • Ability to create a structure/framework for managing all change impacts from the ground up. • Planning capability – excellent task management abilities and the means to create training / development programmes, as needed. • Ability to think creatively and strategically and see the big picture, demonstrating organisational awareness. • Knowledge and experience of gamification to help people gain a better understanding of changes occurring. • Be open to change and respond flexibly and quickly to the change in needs and/or priorities. • Value diversity and treat others with respect. • Experience of working in a med/tech, life science or regulated environment, on a global scale, is desirable but not essential. Education/ Qualifications • Proficient in change management processes and experienced in using a variety of change management methodologies. • 3 years’ experience in an OCM role, operating on a global scale, working directly with senior management. • 5 years’ experience in an OCM role, operating at a national/regional level, working with senior management teams.
