What you'll do
* Lead client engagements: collaborate with clients to identify key business challenges, evaluate digital commerce maturity, and design tailored Digital Shelf and Commerce solutions.
* Develop Digital Shelf strategy: architect strategies to optimise product content, data, and assets for superior performance across critical channels such as marketplaces, D2C, and retailer websites.
* Advise on future commerce trends: act as a subject‑matter expert on the evolving commerce landscape, guiding clients on the impacts and opportunities presented by AI and Agentic Commerce.
* Drive content & data strategy: align product data and content strategies with business goals, overseeing syndication to maximise visibility, searchability, and conversion.
* Guide technology deployment: support clients through the implementation of Digital Shelf technologies, including PIM, DAM, syndication tools, and eCommerce platforms.
* Leverage analytics for optimisation: use Digital Shelf analytics tools to evaluate content performance, generate data‑driven insights, and recommend actions to enhance the customer experience.
* Foster cross‑functional alignment: work across client functions (e.g., Marketing, IT, Supply Chain) to align strategies, break down silos, and drive measurable business outcomes.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in Digital Shelf strategy, digital commerce, eCommerce transformation, or a related field.
* Expertise in the Digital Shelf ecosystem, with deep knowledge of Product Experience Management (PXM), DAM, and Syndication platforms, and proven experience driving performance across Marketplaces, eRetailers, and Commerce Media networks.
* Deep understanding of how digital assets, product content, and data are created, managed, and syndicated to drive performance.
* Knowledge of emerging trends in commerce, including the application of AI and Agentic Commerce on the digital shelf.
* Strong ability to use analytics tools to measure, interpret, and optimise digital shelf performance.
* Demonstrated success in engaging with cross‑functional stakeholders and delivering impactful digital experiences.
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with a strong consulting acumen to translate complex requirements into actionable recommendations.
Set yourself apart
* Professional certification or proven expertise in one or more leading Content‑Supply‑Chain, Digital Shelf or Commerce Media platforms (e.g., Salsify, Aprimo, CommerceIQ, Pacvue).
* Background in consulting or agency environments delivering large‑scale digital commerce or content transformation projects.
* Experience in developing business cases for new commerce technologies and a perspective on the future of retail.
