Senior Recruitment Consultant at Network Scientific Recruitment - specialising in Scientific & Laboratory Commercial markets

Are you a recent life science or economics graduate from a top 20 university? Have you achieved a 1st or a high 2:1? Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to apply your background and gain experience working on the commercial side of the pharmaceutical industry?

This is a desirable opportunity for a high-calibre graduate to join an esteemed and rapidly growing company which specialises in supporting the world’s top pharmaceutical organisations. It prides itself on offering a top-class service and has established itself as a key partner to its clients. Due to growth, our client is looking to recruit two analyst & business modellers to join its friendly and hardworking team.

Responsibilities include developing a deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical arena to provide high-quality modelling, analysis, and consultancy services in forecasting, pricing, and market access to clients. The work involves running market research projects to inform pharmaceutical reception in the market. You will present and report your models and findings, ensuring your recommendations are clear and applicable. As you progress, you will take on more responsibility and develop your knowledge and consultative skills, with the goal of becoming a Senior Consultant.

To be considered, you should have achieved a first or 2:1 degree from a top-twenty university in a life science subject, with outstanding A-level grades, including an A in maths and science. Effective communication of complex ideas is essential. An understanding of statistical concepts and spreadsheet modelling is beneficial, and you should be highly numerate and computer literate, especially in Excel. Some UK and overseas travel may be required, so flexibility is necessary. The role is based full-time at the company’s offices near High Wycombe.

You will receive a starting salary of £28,000 (increasing to £31,000 after a six-month probation), along with a generous performance-based bonus scheme. Benefits include twenty-seven days’ holiday, Bank Holidays, and a 5% matching company pension contribution.
