Congleton Veterinary Centre are seeking a Part Time Receptionist to join our front of house team!
The role involves a high level of face-to-face contact with our clients, so we are looking for someone who has the confidence, empathy, and experience to provide excellent standards of care, as well as that personal touch.
Daily duties include (but are not limited to):
1. Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival at the practice
2. Dealing with queries face-to-face, by telephone, and by email
3. Maintaining accurate records
4. Ensuring good communication between reception and the clinical teams
5. Taking payments, cashing up, and submitting takings at the end of each day
6. Adhering to GDPR regulations and respecting client confidentiality
7. Maintaining a clean and tidy reception and waiting room at all times
8. Following health and safety procedures and protocols
About the rota
This is a part-time permanent role working 30 hours per week. The shifts will be from 8:15 am to 7:00 pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. There will be 1 in 3 Saturdays involved on a rota basis. Bank holidays are also on a shared rota.
Our ideal candidate
The successful candidate should display excellent communication skills, be able to adapt to change within a fast-paced environment, and show empathy to clients during emotional situations. Previous experience is preferred, and the ability to use IT systems is essential.
