We are recruiting a committed and resilient 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support students aged 11–16 within a specialist alternative provision setting.
This is a full-time role with an immediate start, working 8.30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
You will be joining a highly regarded specialist provision known for its:
* Inclusive, trauma-informed approach to learning
* Strong focus on re-engagement, wellbeing and positive behaviour

* A supportive, experienced team that prioritises consistency and relationships
Students present with a range of needs, including: Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Behavioural challenges linked to trauma or anxiety, Disengagement from mainstream education and Additional needs such as ADHD and communication difficulties
Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
* Support emotional regulation, behaviour and engagement
* Assist with learning activities and alternative curricula
* Build positive, trusting relationships with students
Requirements
* Experience in SEMH or alternative provision is highly desirable
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the school’s location

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
