Position Overview
We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the business. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO ensures the company executes its strategy efficiently, drives operational scalability, and maintains a high-performance culture across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Leadership & Management
o Oversee Daily Operations: Direct and control all day-to-day activities across critical departments, including Operations, HR, IT, and other core business functions.
o Process Optimization: Design, implement, and continuously monitor standardized procedures and workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity.
o Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate key operational risks to ensure compliance, business continuity, and organizational stability.
* Strategic Planning & Execution
o Strategy Implementation: Translate the CEO's long-term vision and strategic goals into clear, actionable operational plans and departmental targets.
o Performance Monitoring: Establish, track, and analyze KPIs and metrics, reporting insights to the CEO and recommending corrective actions.
o Growth & Scalability: Lead initiatives that build infrastructure, technology, and organizational structure to support sustainable company growth.
* Financial & Resource Stewardship
o Budget Oversight: Collaborate with the CFO to manage the company's operating budget, control expenses, and find opportunities to improve cost efficiency and profit margins.
o Resource Allocation: Manage and allocate internal resources (personnel, technology, and capital) to ensure all strategic projects and operations are fully supported.
* Talent & Culture Development
o Leadership Mentorship: Mentor and guide department heads and senior leadership to foster accountability and continuous professional development.
o Culture Champion: Act as champion for the company's core values, ensuring the internal culture supports high performance and drives employee engagement and retention.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Experience & Executive Skills
o Minimum of 4+ years of progressive leadership experience.
o Operational Expertise: Proven track record in scaling operations and managing cross-departmental functions.
o Leadership: Ability to mentor senior management and lead large teams.
o Process Knowledge: Expertise in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) and strategic planning frameworks.
* Education & Certification
o Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
o Relevant Certifications: Executive Leadership, Strategic Management, or Process Improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt).
