JOB REF: VAF177: LECTURER/ASSESSOR IN PLUMBING & GAS
Competitive Salary
37 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
* Teach full-time students from levels 1-3 and assess Level 3 Plumbing & Gas Apprentices.
* As an assessor, ensure the timely delivery and completion of the NVQ element with the Level 3 Apprenticeship qualifications.
* Visit apprentices on site/in their workplace to assess their competence and ability in their trade to contribute to successful achievement of their Apprenticeship.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Excellent organisation and communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
* Excellent knowledge and passion for the Plumbing and Gas trade, and high-quality practice.
* Must hold a relevant Plumbing and Gas qualification and have proven experience of working within the sector, with current CPD.
* Preferably you will be qualified or working towards an Assessors and/or Internal Verifiers qualification. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
* You will receive a high standard of support regarding induction and the assessor role.
